Rocky Brands Launches Product Innovations at Major Trade Shows
NELSONVILLE, Ohio, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rocky Brands (Nasdaq: RCKY) launched new products and technologies at major trade shows in January and February.

SHOT Show, Jan. 11-14
The SHOT Show, presented by National Shooting Sports Foundation in Orlando, Fla., attracted thousands of outdoor specialty retailers. Rocky unveiled a proprietary D-TEC(TM) waterproof and scent eliminating system in footwear and apparel under its flagship Rocky brand. New products introduced at the show included the Stalker Series of lightweight hunting boots, ProHunter Synergy apparel and updated tactical footwear in its Rocky Duty footwear collection.
Denver International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Market,
Jan. 12-15
Held each January at the Denver Mart, this show is attended by western industry specialty retailers and buyers. At the just-completed Market, Rocky Brands hosted the second annual Rocky Brands Bash, an invitation-only party attended by more than 1,000 key accounts. The company also introduced new products featuring exclusive technologies, including Techno Rides, a line of Rocky Western boots featuring an exclusive 10-layer comfort; and the Mustang Sole, a flexible, longwearing, repairable outsole from Durango Boot.
Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, Jan. 27-30
Conducted in Salt Lake City, the Outdoor Retailer (OR) is the primary trade show for the outdoor specialty industry with attendees ranging from buyers at small shops and regional chains to the largest national and international retailers. At OR, Rocky Brands launched its first line of adventure products under the newly-acquired Michelin brand license. Developed for hiking, trekking and trail running, the Michelin Off-Road footwear line capitalizes on Michelin's innovations in rubber compounds and Rocky Brands' expertise in outdoor footwear.
Western Shoe Associates, Feb. 1-4
The bi-annual Western Shoe Associates (WSA) show, held in Las Vegas, is a global marketplace for footwear and accessory buyers. Rocky Brands showcased all of its brands at WSA. Products launched there included the OneDesign(TM) line of lifestyle-oriented slip-resistant shoes under the Dickies Footwear brand; fall 2007 styles under the Zumfoot comfort brand; updated IronClad boots from Rocky Work; and the retro G Series brand of work footwear.
